We tried to predict which cadets would stay in military trainning  and which would drop out.

endure, survival 견디다 생존하다

Which children would advance farthest in competition.

끝까지 나아가다 far, farther, farthest

Which teachers are still going to be here in teaching by the end of the school year.

학기말까지 by the end of the month 이달말까지, by the end of this weekend 이번주말까지 by me 내 곁에

And of those who will be the most effective at improving learning outcomes for therir students.

In all those very different contexts, one characteristic emerged. It was Grit.
